Where are your products made?

Our cords are made in Poland and are Eco friendly, made from recycled cotton thread. See our Recycling page for full details!

How do I start the rope?

It’s super easy!

For our Braided cord, simply find the knotted end and pull it gently, leaving the paper sleeve on. See the video here.

For our Macrame ropes on the bobbin, remove the paper sleeve and then see the video here.

How are the ropes dyed?

Bobbiny ropes do not contain any dyes at all! Please see our Recycling
page which explains how the colour is created without dyes.

Why is the color different when I have ordered the same shade?

The popularity of Bobbiny products mean they can sell out quickly. Color shades may vary from one batch to another because of the recycled fibre characteristics, so we recommend you order a bit extra for specific projects. 

Please also keep in mind that your device's screen color may differ slightly from the product you receive.

Are the ropes safe for allergies and babyproducts?

The ropes are certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 in 1st class which means no harmful or toxic substances were used in the making of these ropes. They were tested at every production level and do not contain any substances that are harmful for your health. They are safe to use in products for toddlers and people with allergies.

What thickness and type of rope should I buy?

Our ropes come in a variety of thicknesses ranging from 1.5mm up to 9mm. The size needed will depend on your project. Some are great for smaller intricate work while the jumbo ropes add a luxury feel to large scale items.

We also offer single ply, 3 ply and braided ropes in different thicknesses, which can add a different feel to your project.

An important distinction is that the braided ropes are not suitable for brushing out, so if you want to add this effect you should opt for the single or 3 ply varieties.

Which ropes can you fray/brush?

You can brush out the single ply macrame cord and 3 ply macrame rope.

Braided ropes cannot be brushed out.

Do you stock all colors all year round?

We stock the full range of Bobbiny products so will restock as soon as possible. Occasionally products are discontinued, but we will continue to stock them while they are available.

Can I get some samples?

We sell a Bobbiny Color Palette which shows examples of the colors and different
types of cord.

How should I care for my rope?

We recommend you use your rope for indoors purposes rather than outdoors.

A little dusting might be necessary on finished projects from time to time. We do not recommend tumble drying, bleaching or dry cleaning.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Yes you can buy a Gift card in varying amounts to suit your budget.

Do you offer wholesale on your products?

No, we are Bobbiny resellers ourselves and do not offer wholesale.

Placing an order

Where can I buy your products?

We are an online only retailer and sell through our own website.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major debit/credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, AMEX, Diners Club. We also accept PayPal as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay.

The product I want is showing as 'Sold out' - will you be getting any more in?

We stock the full range of Bobbiny products so will restock as soon as possible. Occasionally products are discontinued, but we will continue to stock them while they are available.

Each product page includes the option to Notify me by email when ‘product’ becomes available. Just add your email address and we will let you know when the product is available again.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, as long as your order hasn’t already been fulfilled. We fulfil orders between 8am – 12noon Central Standard Time, on business days. Please contact us as early as possible at hello@bobbinycords.us, should you wish to cancel your order. If we have already dispatched your order, please see details of our Refund Policy.

What should I do if there is an error with my order?

Please contact us at hello@bobbinycords.us with details of the error and we will reply as soon as possible.

How do I get an exchange or refund?

For exchanges, the fastest way to ensure you get what you need is to return the item(s) you no longer want for a refund, and simultaneously make a separate order for the new item(s). Your refund will be processed as soon as possible once the returned item(s) have been received.

Can I get an exchange or refund on sale items?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

We ship across the US, but do not ship to PO/APO/FPO box addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or to any countries outside the United States.

How much is shipping?

We currently use USPS and UPS. The shipping courier is determined based on products in your order. Please see our Shipping Policy for prices and full details.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship across the US, but do not ship to PO/APO/FPO box addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or to any countries outside the United States.

When will I receive my order?

We aim to dispatch ‘in-stock’ orders within 1 day (Monday - Friday), and you will receive a notification when your order is in transit. Once your order leaves our facility, you can expect your delivery within 3 business days for most of the
states, or 4 - 5 days if you are located on the east coast.

Your order should usually arrive on time, but on occasion may arrive later than expected.

Please note: your order must be more than 15 days late before most couriers will allow a claim to be filed. If you’ve not received your order when expected, please contact us and we will try to get as much information as possible. If necessary, we will file a claim, once able to.

We are not responsible for packages stolen from your doorstep or mailbox.
